Who can host?

It’s easy to become a Smily host in Europe, and it’s always free to create a listing. Entire apartments and homes, villas, treehouses, and castles are just a few of the properties hosts have shared on Smily.

How much does it cost?

Registering on Smily and creating your property listing is completely free. Agencies generally provide part of these services and charge a commission of 15 to 20% on each reservation. At Smily, we charge a service fee of just 10% (including the payment gateway fees, which are between 3% and 5% depending on the provider) to cover our operating costs.
We are in a win-win partnership.

What protection do I have against property damage?

Property owners can request damage deposits from guests. Deposits help cover any potential damage caused by a guest, offering some reassurance that your property will be treated respectfully. If anything goes wrong, it can be reported to our team through our misconduct reporting feature. We recommend that hosts secure or remove valuables when renting their space.

What will happen after I sign up?

After you’ve registered to Smily, we'll review your information to make sure we have everything we need. Meanwhile, you will be guided to set your property live on Smily and ready to be advertised to over 50 million travelers monthly!
